When Shirou projects a weapon, he's recreating everything behind it. History, concept, experience, all of those are recreated within the projection, that's basically the definition of Shirou's tracing ability. This was further demonstrated and proven when he traced Caliburn, wherein the sword moved as though Saber, at her prime, was swinging it, up to and including Saber's style/technique.

Nine Lives Blade Works was only an expansion of that ability. Shirou traced the Sword-axe, and within the memory of that axe was Nine Lives, a technique that Heracles used in his life.

This is not a contradiction nor bullshits, nor lies. This premise of this was readily established early on and the basic definition of what Shirou's ability are entails this.

Furthermore, this was demonstrated yet again at the end of HF in one of the Dead End, Sparks Liner High, where Shirou downloaded Archer's 4 steps attack into breaking an enemy's guard and killing them with Kanshou and Bakuya. From within the memory of the swords.

Shirou's UBW has clear limits. An inability to download skills residing within the memory of a weapon, is not one of those limits.

You seem to forget Hercules never had that Axe-Sword before and therefore never used Nine Lives with it. Nine Lives is a skill that Hercules has not an ability from a conceptual weapon like Gae Bolg. The Axe-Sword is just made form the Temple they summon Hercules at for the 5th Holy Grail War. On top of that, he couldn't use Nine Lives Blade Works with said Axe-Sword since he is Berserker and lacked motor skills to do so(Citation:http://typemoon.wikia.com/wiki/Nine_Lives [Look at Right Box])

So ratstsrub you have just failed because your explaination doesn't cover the fact Berserker couldn't use Nine Lives with the Axe-Sword ever, hence Shirou shouldn't be able to copy Berserker's skill(if you want to make sure Berserker never had it before go into Weapons on FSN VN). Also, it would be lol if Shirou projected Monohoshizao and did Tsubame Gaeshi.
